• Jury trials are set on Monday of every week except for the 1st week of the month.  Pre-Trials for jury trials are set the Friday before the jury trial is set.  If there is a holiday on Monday of a jury week then the jury trial is set on Tuesday. 
  
  
• The 1st week of the month is the Non-Jury week.  Non-Jury trials are set on Monday of that week.
  
  
• Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. -- Regular docket for Family Law cases. 
  
  
• Mondays and Wednesdays are reserved for special settings.  Special settings are set for 1/2 day or full day settings.  You will need to contact Gwenda Thompson to schedule any special settings in the 169th District Court.
  
  
• Civil Litigation cases are heard on Fridays.  
   
• Tax cases are heard one Thursday of every month at 1:30 p.m.
   
• All requests for contested docket settings must be done in writing.  You may call to check the courts availability prior to sending your written request.
