Earth Guidelines for Multi-media Display
Each Classroom Project must
include the five steps of the scientific study method: Question, Hypothesis, Methods,
Result, and Conclusion.
Each multi-media display should
contain the following components:
1. TITLE
- Introduction (What problem are we
exploring? Who is working on the project?)
- Project
Objectives (Simple statements
no more than three - that explain the objectives.)
- Materials
and Methods (i.e. digital
camera, computers, software, GPS unit, visual, data collection sheets, web sites, field
trips, water samples, etc.)
- Results
and Class Discussion (Data may be
graphed, charted, or mapped or you may use photos, original artwork, or drawings. Display your research data and/or the dialog that
the data generated creatively!
P.S. Be sure to
identify who discussed the data.)
- Conclusions (Brief
narrative statement, photo, or graphic.)
- References
(This may
include books, magazines, articles, presentations or discussions with professionals, or
web sites. References should be replicated in
professional format.)
- Date should be
placed in the bottom right-hand corner in small type.
