August 1995- Present: Librarian/ Media Specialist

Rogers ISD, Texas

Responsible for all programming, curriculum integration, material purchasing, budget requirements, for the Rogers K-12 library. Coordinate Accelerated Reader programming, instruct students on online and offline research, participating in Statewide information sharing projects, summer programming

August 1994- June 1995: Elementary School Librarian

Killeen ISD, Texas

Managed 2 Elementary school libraries. Conducted 32 library classes each week, teaching library skills and research skills. Organized books fairs, reading is fundamental programs, and author visits. Ordered all materials for each library, supervised library aides in both libraries. Trained aides to enter bibliographic information into automation database. Developed a database for videos, class sets, and other media in both libraries.

September 1993 – May 1994: School librarian/Computer teacher

Grace Christian Academy, Killeen, Texas

Taught library and computer skills to K-7th grade students.

June 1990- August 1993: Reference Librarian

Central Texas College Library, Killeen Texas

Primary duties included research on various databases for students and faculty. Answered all telephone reference questions. Presented library orientations for students in law and general library materials. Cataloged bibliographic holdings automated catalog. Coordinated children’s college activities for middle school students.
