Central Texas Work Force
Development Board has awarded $24,000 to BellNET to support this learning project. This
support will provide professional training consultants, stipends for curriculum
development, and the initial costs of digital cameras and global positioning systems. |

Central Texas Council of Governments will provide professional personnel as informational
resources through the Transportation and Planning Division. Additionally, CTCOG will,
appropriately, serve as a repository for collected material and databases

ESRI, through the Educational Division, has provided training materials and curriculum for
K-12. Additionally, ESRI has established an opportunity for each school that participates
within the GIS School-to-Work Project will receive a copy of ArcView software for
curricular use. These gift carries with it fifteen site licenses

Texas Agricultural Experiment Station at Blackland Research Center will provide
professional instructors in ArcView. These instructors will also provide electronic
support throughout the project as on-going educational resources.
