Criteria Scale: For Use in the Evaluation Process of a Web Site   bookwr.gif (20400 bytes)

When referencing other web sites as resources, developing a curriculum module for publication, or when replicating an appropriate site, the following assessments should be considered.

  1. When rating any web site, you should consider each response below to rate a site.  No site should be referenced, cited, or replicated that does not merit the minimum point range of 80 to 100.  Consider each of these criteria prior to the selection of a site.
  1. Assess the selected sites on the positive analysis of the following questions.  If the information is unknown, the assessed points are 0. For example, if in your opinion, the site design in only marginally appealing to the eye, you may award only 5 points to the site.  If you believe the site is very appealing, you may award the full 10 points to that site.
