BellNET, Inc.

The Bell County Network for Educational Technology was created in 1992. It started as a consortium of Bell County educational entities, K-12, College, University and Teaching Hospitals. Its mission was to provide network facilities whereby the members could collaborate and share their educational expertise with each other as well as with other educational institutions. BellNET has provided the participating members with network, computer and audio/video technology as well as the infrastructure to transport voice, video and data across the county. These services have been primarily funded through various private and public grant sources.
